Skills for life
I
would campaign to introduce skills for life in Darlington Schools and from this
to become part of the curriculum. This
will help prepare young people for life, by teaching for example sustainable
living and financial skills.
Combat Youth
Unemployment
I
would work with local Businesses, Schools and the Council and the Northern Echo
to campaign for more job’s for young people this could be done by introducing
proper apprenticeships’ and internships to help get young people trained.
Better Work
Experience
We
need better work experience, if elected I would work with Schools and Business
to improve young peoples work experience so they gain valuable experience and a
greater awareness of what life is like in
the work place.
